We have an immediate opportunity for a legal administrator to join the Private Client team in our Galashiels branch.  This is a full-time, permanent position.  The hours are 9am to 5pm from Monday to Friday.  Full training will be provided and there may be potential for career progression.

You will be assisting in our busy Private Client Department dealing with executries, the preparation of Wills, and the preparation and management of Powers of Attorney.  You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong numeracy skills are essential.

Duties to include but not limited to:

  • digital dictation;
  • creating and amending documents;
  • typing and correspondence;
  • scanning documents;
  • general file management;
  • booking and co-ordination of meetings;
  • opening and closing case files;
  • handling telephone enquiries;
  • opening and distributing post.

Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
